This is one of our combined cross country tours. This program is a combination of a circuit of Kenya national parks with an extension to Uganda for eco-tourism of Gorillas in Bwindi national park.


Day 1
Nairobi
On arrival at Nairobi International Airport our representative will transfer you to the hotel for overnight in a bed and breakfast basis, Eka Hotel (C) or Boulevard Hotel (E). BB

After breakfast, you drive through the Athi and Kapiti Plains past the town of Namanga and arrive in time for lunch in Amboseli National Park. In the afternoon you will go for game drive and explorations of this park, which is so famous for the numerous herds of elephants as well as the spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania.

Other animals present in the park are the giraffes, the zebras, wildebeest, impala, caracal, lions, leopards, cheetah and buffaloes to say some of them. You have dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge (C) or Sentrim Amboseli Camp (E). Full Board

Today you enjoy the full day of game drives in the national park, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The lunch, dinner and overnight at the same lodge, Amboseli Sopa Lodge (C) or Sentrim Amboseli Camp (E). Full Board

After breakfast leave Amboseli and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch from the lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this small game and bird-filled park, famous for its population of flamingoes, rhinos, leopards, lions, giraffes. As you drive to the hills surrounding the park, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the lake. Return to your lodge or camping at dusk for dinner and overnight, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge (C) or Chester Hotel in town (E). Full Board

After breakfast, the journey starts to the Maasai town of Narok and the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve – to many, the jewel and highlight of the safari expedition. Lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to your lodge or camping for dinner and overnight, Mara Sopa Lodge (C) or camping site Ol Moran Tented Camp (E). Full Board

A full day in the Mara with game drive early morning and late afternoon, each of about 3 hours. This is where millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River from the Serengeti National Park of Tanzania to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve of Kenya - an annual spectacular event, which brings along thousands of plains game and predators to the Mara.

From June to October the migration is from Kenya to Tanzania, while from November to May is from Serengeti to Masaai Mara. However, the phenomenon is more linked to the actual changes of weather. Lunch, dinner and overnight, Mara Sopa Lodge (C) or camping site Ol Moran Tented Camp (E). Full Board

After breakfast, reserved for departure from Mara airfield for the flight Air Kenya at 8.45 to Entebbe via Kisumu. Formalities will be done in Kisumu.nOn arrival at Entebbe International Airport at 11.45 transfer to the hotel on Lake Victoria. Lunch not included. Early morning you leave Entebbe and drive southwards to Bwindi National Park. You will have stopover at the Equator and lunch will be in Mbarara, the capital town of the Ankole region. You will see the typical acacia savannah and the terraced hills, where the people rear the Ankole cattle with long horns. The transfer is long, about 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Engagi Lodge / Lake Mulehe Bwindi Lodge (C) Bakiga Lodge / Gorilla Valley Lodge (E). After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides of Uganda Wildlife Authority, set off for the gorilla tracking in the forest sanctuary. The activity starts at 8.00am and you join the other members according to the distribution of the gorilla families, only eight per family each day. You need to carry with you the packed lunch, enough drinking water, rain jacket in case of rain and trekking boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. If you are not sure of your fitness you might hire a porter and pay him a tip to help you carrying the bag. It is unpredictable how long will take to find the primates as they freely move into the forest. However the encounter with the gorillas, lasting for about one hour, certainly is a rewarding experience and an unforgettable one.

After the trekking you go back to the lodge at leisure. Dinner and overnight, Bwindi Engagi Lodge / Lake Mulehe Bwindi Lodge (C) or Bakiga Lodge / Gorilla Valley Lodge (E). Full Board.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, a small game national park found in the central region of Uganda, the Ankole. This is the perfect stop over between Bwindi and Entebbe. After lunch, go for game drive in search for the beautiful impalas, elands, topi and many antelopes, buffaloes, zebras. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock Lodge / Mantana Mburo Tented Camp (C) or Arcadia Cottages Mburo (E). Full Board

After breakfast, last game drive and lunch. Then drive to Entebbe for your flight out from Entebbe International Airport. Half Board
